When I first started chatting with Kristina on the phone, I knew this was going to be a fun wedding! Kristina and Charles gave their day a "chic-retro" feel with details like an old fashioned soda bar, milk glass vase floral arrangements and a sophisticated color palette!

With formal photos before their early evening ceremony, Kristina & Charles were able to enjoy every moment of their cocktail-style reception.

Guests wandered down the garden path to enjoy cocktails in Weezy's Children's Garden! Greeted by servers passing the signature drinks: "The Whiskey Charles" and "The Kristina Margarita", the party was just starting!

Kristina and Charles added whimsy into every aspect of their special day...during cocktail hour, they featured a vintage-style soda bar! Custom Catering by Domenic & Anthony was able to provide locally made sodas in a variety of flavors and colors to compliment this wonderful idea!

A stationary hors d'oeuvre display teased the appetites of the guests! Featuring New England cheeses, candied pecans, fruits and individual vegetable crudite, this display only added more color to the beautiful setting.

A big part of my job as wedding coordinator is to make sure that the Bride & Groom get everything that they have envisioned. I try my best to make sure to give Brides & Grooms a "first look" into their room before guests arrive...this is Kristina's reaction:

As guests made their way toward the reception, they had the opportunity to officially greet Mr & Mrs Lock in a receiving line outside the Elm Bank Tent
Then there was the food...oh my, the food! This reception was one of our many "tapas-style" menus from this Summer. It is certain that cocktail hour food is everyone's favorite, so why not have it for dinner? Individual salads, pulled pork sliders with caribbean slaw, and vegetarian chili with a buttermilk biscuit are just some of the tempting bites that circulated during the dinner hour.
A menu card describing the style of service and the tapas to be featured was on every guest table...thank you, Kristina!
